Each year the smaller authority’s Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) needs to be reviewed by an external auditor appointed by Smaller Authorities’ Audit Appointments Ltd. The unaudited AGAR has been published with this notice. As it has yet to be reviewed by the appointed auditor, it is subject to change as a result of that review.

Wylam Parish Council has three vacancies for Parish Councillors and is now looking for interested individuals to join the Council

Charlie's Corner

At its meeting on 12th April 2021 the Parish Council discussed an outline proposal to enhance Charlie’s Corner for the benefit of the Village.  In doing so it noted that wide ranging public consultation was required to ensure that any proposal for this land reflected the consensus view of residents as to the most appropriate use(s).
