Wylam Parish Council has three vacancies for Parish Councillors and is now looking for interested individuals to join the Council

  • Are you looking at new ways to get involved in your local community?
  • Do you want to make a difference to the quality of life locally?
  • Would you like to have a voice on some of the issues affecting Wylam and its residents?
  • Are you interested in local issues e.g. community safety, road safety, the environment, planning, heritage etc.?

If the answer to these questions is YES please contact the Parish Clerk who will send you an eligibility and application form.

An induction and training programme will be provided to new councillors.

The closing date for applications is Friday 28th May 2021.

Parish Councillors will consider applications at the meeting of the Council to be held on 14th June 2021. Candidates for co-option will be required to attend the meeting on 14th June 2021 to make a short (5 minutes maximum) presentation to the Parish Council giving reasons for wishing to be considered for co-option.
